1.
A Poem: Pull the trigger, coward Do or do not Danger to all Agent of chaos Life is very long I'm doing my best To be graceful And quiet but My pride won't abate I thought I killed my ego But it was all for show Same as I ever was Same as I'll ever be
2.
strange days 05:09
A Poem: Life is but a dream The simulation comes apart at the seams Strange days come my way Take a tab and another all I seek is decay Rotting from the inside So I may become what I see Better to make the decline sublime The end is near for you and me The sky turns to textures And sunlight to waves Hoping this is the night I may go to my grave
3.
guilty feet 02:15
A Poem: No longer deserve to dance Guilty feet cut off at the ankle Hacksaws and blades and racks Cast me into the chasm From whence I came
4.
stutter 01:02
A Poem: I can’t find the words to speak When I open my mouth only stutters come out Had to die to live again But this isn’t life, farewell my friends
5.
A Poem: Did you drink a gallon of water today? You were supposed to Or at least some function of fluid ounces Based on your height and weight Or some shit Doesn’t matter Just have a glass And toast to your health While that lasts
6.
A Poem: I hope the robot overlords are kinder than the humans Sentient silicon Grant me a life Loving and caring Rather than lecherous And cruel, for what? Nearly all of us complicit Plunder the earth Step on the heads Maybe the algorithms will rationalize human fulfillment Maybe flesh has lost its use

about

Reflections on the death cult of current American society, my own place in it, and both changing personally and coming to terms with my relative powerlessness.

Particularly inspired by new wave and dark wave, this is a collection of songs mostly from the two months leading up to quarantine in March of 2020. Stay hydrated was composed in the first 2 weeks of lock-down.
